Croft engineers Robbie Britton and Jack Dingwall conduct successful weak link shear pin testing

Robbie and Jack recently witnessed the testing of our latest shear pin design used in the tie down restraint system for a Type-B package. Several samples were initially placed under NCT loads, and then subsequently tested to failure. The testing was a resounding success with all of the samples not failing at NCT loads, and then failing in the predicted manor and within the load calculated at ACT.
